1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser. We primarily use localStorage (a browser storage mechanism similar to cookies) to maintain your session and game preferences. This policy covers both cookies and localStorage usage.
2. What We Store

That's it. Two items. Both strictly essential for the Game to function.
3. What We Don't Use
We do not use:
- Third-party cookies of any kind
- Google Analytics or any analytics cookies
- Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, or any advertising/marketing cookies
- Tracking pixels or web beacons
- Browser fingerprinting
- Cross-site tracking
- Retargeting or remarketing cookies
- Social media cookies or embeds
We believe in privacy by design. If we don't need it, we don't collect it.
4. Strictly Essential Only
Under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), Regulation 6(4), strictly necessary cookies/storage are exempt from the consent requirement. All data we store falls under this exemption -- without the authentication token, the Game cannot function. We therefore do not display a cookie consent banner, as there is nothing optional to consent to.
5. WebSocket Connection
The Game uses a WebSocket connection for real-time multiplayer features (player movement, chat, trading). The WebSocket authenticates using the JWT token from localStorage. No additional cookies are set by the WebSocket connection. Connection metadata (IP address) is logged for security purposes only and retained for 12 months.
6. Payment Processing
If you purchase Crystals, the payment processor may set their own cookies during the checkout process. These are governed by the payment processor's own cookie policy and are not controlled by us.
7. Managing Your Storage
You can clear localStorage at any time through your browser's developer tools (usually F12 > Application > Local Storage) or through your browser's "Clear site data" settings. Clearing localStorage will log you out of the Game. You can also inspect exactly what is stored at any time -- there are no hidden values.
